Baby Reed Update!

So Reed is 3 1/2 months old now! I can't believe it. He is growing like a weed. Yesterday he laughed for the first time (I'm not counting when he laughs in his sleep). He is such a wonderfully happy baby. He sleeps through the night, most nights! On Monday we took him to see my friend Kristi who just had a baby a month ago. Reed and Hudson will be great friends! Adam's business is doing great! They keep growing! Ari is pretty much the same. Just loving selling diamonds and seeing happy people in love! I'll be posting more pictures of Reed tonight!

Tortellini Florentine Soup

Here is a delicious recipe that I got from a sister in my ward. It's my favorite soup!

Ingredients:
2 pkgs Buittoni refrig. 3 cheese tortellini
2 cans chicken broth
1 (12.5 oz) canned chicken (drain, rinse & shred)
1/2 bottle sun-dried tomatoes
1 bottle Classico alfredo sauce
3 cups baby spinach
parmesan cheese

Directions:
Boil tortellini according to directions of package. Drain and set aside. Add chicken broth & alfredo into large sauce pan. Add shredded chicken and tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add tortellini to pot and heat through. Add spinach & wilt. Serve with parmesan cheese.

Baby Reed is 2 months old today!

My how time flies! I can't believe that Reed is two months old. It seems like just yesterday that I was pregnant. The last two months have been so crazy. We are very fortunate that with exception of a few nights, Reed is a very good sleeper. He is happy and fusses very little. In fact he has started to smile now. He doesn't do it a lot, but when I catch a smile it just makes my day!

I am back to work and trying to find my place as a mother/employee. Adam's business is continuing to grow and Reed loves going to the office. Adam's business started as a rock chip stand at a car wash and has expanded to doing fleet and customer windsheilds, windows in churches, and now freight brokering. It's amazing what he has done in a year and a half. I am so proud!

Reed is having his two month check up today and we are expecting a clean bill of health. It looks to me like he has grown a lot, but I guess we will have to wait a few more hours for the numbers. As for Adam and I we are doing great... a little sleep deprived...but great! We love watching our little man grow and we are enjoying every day more and more.

Christmas and New Year's

My whole family came to Utah for the holidays! It has been so much fun. Chelsea and Jay came from Oregon, my parents from Montana, and Courtney from Idaho. We are so spread out that we don't get to see each other very often; so it has been so special to have everyone together. We have been so blessed to have family here for Reed's blessing. I love seeing my family holding him and cuddling him. Plus, I LOVE having extra pairs of hands to help! This first time mom is still learning how to balance everything. Speaking of...I must go attend to my child! Ta ta for now!
